Oh, and Zack? Need to hear from you. I promise I won't laugh at you being ridiculously shorter than me for once~ [So. He might. But just a little, honest!]

[TODAY / Video]

Whoa--whoa!

[Contrary to the icon, that voice sounds like Aerith's normal, female voice, if rather startled...and distant. Right now, the video only shows the fairly blank wall of Aerith's room in building 4. There's a pause, some water running, and then one door down the hallway opens and closes and the door to her room opens. She comes over to the journal immediately, looking over it to turn it on before realizing it already is.]

That's funny. A little too funny! (Why is it turning itself on?! And right after I changed back...in the bathroom. Thank goodness it couldn't catch that.)

[...Aerith is completely unaware that her second effect began nearly as soon as the first ended. So, unaware of what's broadcasting, she simply puts on a smile after a few seconds.]

...All right! I think everything's back to normal for me. So that's an experiment. Well, I've never cared for them much before, and I sure don't now! Changing minds and bodies like it's nothing... the Malnosso are creeps. (But that's so scary. Everything I remember changed.)

Well... I won't let them get to me. [She gives a firm nod, even if there's a touch of uncertainty in her expression.] Is anyone else back to normal? These last for about a week, right? Mm, I'm glad to be female again. I think I'm much cuter this way~

Mhhmmmmm. [...Yeah, it's doomed.] Don't be a slowpoke~

[She'll try not to be, but a ten-year-old girl's legs aren't as fast or as full of endurance as a SOLDIER, so it takes her a while to get there. When she does arrive, though, she lets herself in. A bit sullenly; she may be small and cute but it's kind of embarrassing, being like this.]

...Oh my goodness.

[If Aerith's voice was a little more feminine, he'd sound just like his regular female self. Staring at Zack with some amazement. He can't be...that cute little girl.

...Why is that face so familiar, anyway? Is it the hair? Not many people have pink hair... :|a]

[Red, red, red. Well, at least he isn't laughing.]

[I wouldn't rule out laughing yet. Aerith's certainly smiling now.]

She's not quite SOLDIER material...

I think that's putting it pretty lightly.

[Okay, it's totally Zack's fault Aerith is laughing now. Especially with those faces he's making. He stifles it, but it still comes out as he looks at Zack and then moves around, seeing--]

Huh. Those wings... [Oh he's seen them before. But...they go on an adult. >_>;]

What, they're familiar? Do you know who this little girl is?

Yeah, I think so! But...if it is her, she's not exactly little, usually. Oh, boy... She's one of our neighbors. Have you met Lightning?

Lightning? Nope, afraid not. I thought her name was Claire, though?

Maybe, but...I really mean she's not little. Lightning's our age. If it's her...the wings are just like hers, and the hair's the same color-- [brb ducking back around and leaning forward to look at your face.] ... This keeps getting stranger and stranger.

[Zack reddens a bit, leaning back. Boy!Aerith getting all close like that is just weird.]

Maybe she changed her name or something. I don't know anyone else with pink hair, though, so...

[...Is he embarrassed? Strange... Aerith straightens up, playing with a strand of hair before tucking it behind his ear. But he did figure out from looking: yeah, this little girl's face type seems right for Lightning's.]

Yeah. I'm pretty sure it's her. She's as new as us, and she couldn't find anyone from her world before, so...hm... We probably won't find anyone who knows her well, so I'm going to watch her while she's like this.

Probably a good idea! Though I hope everything'll be okay. A little girl in a SOLDIER body is kind of dangerous. I'll help if I can, too- maybe give her some pointers.
