[The journal gets opened with a little gasp and...hello, Aerith's dripping water on her journal.

She also appears to be on the bank of one of the forest rivers, treading water. This is the kind of stuff that happens when you drop your journal in the river while being pursued by Teases. You have to go find it after it's been carried downstream.]

There you are. And now we're both soaking wet. I won't be writing on this for a while...does talking still work--? Anyone hearing this?

((ooc: Yes, this is my excuse for having Aerith be quiet during the Tease event. She lost her journal and was harassed by Teases for the duration. |D And this is also my declaration of slowatus. I still want to stick around with Aerith and not hiatus her ~~and not be as slow as before~~, but I've been a little braindead with her in luceti (and distracted by job-hunting) so if responses are slow, then. I apologize beforehand. Hopefully this won't last much longer. Fingers are crossed.))

It's okay, really. He's saved my life a whole bunch of times because I can't fight on my own. I wouldn't be able to awaken the Centurions without his help.

... Of hurting someone on accident, or him hurting them deliberately? You can't say things like that and act like everything's fine with how things are now.

Hurting someone on purpose, but I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to pretend it was an accident.

[She shakes her head vigorously. Ratatosk sounds like a grade-A jerk.] Then it's even worse letting him take over in an emergency! If you train, you can control who's around you. But if you just give him control in an emergency, there could be other people in danger too! He might hurt them!

I know, but... without him, I can't protect anyone at all! I can't even protect myself... I can't do anything...

Of course you can't do it if you don't try to learn it! You two have the same body, Emil! If he has the physical strength and reflexes to fight, there's no reason you shouldn't!

But I can't. I've tried, and... I just can't. Even if we do share the same body, I'm not as strong as he is.
